The department specializes in correction of abnormalities involving the lacrimal system (dacryocystorhinostomy-conventional and endonasal approaches, dacryocystectomy), correction of lid abnormalities(ectropion, entropion surgeries, gold weight lid surgeries and ptosis surgeries), orbital fractures management, socket reconstructions and orbitotomies for tumors. Thyroid clinic assists in the diagnosis and management of thyroid related ocular disorders. In addition supports the chemotherapy and radiotherapy services of economically underpriviledged children with ocular tumors through its tie up with few cancer centers.
